Spiced Peach Cobbler
This Spiced Peach Cobbler is one of my favorite dishes to serve it with Dinner in a Pumpkin. The peaches give the dessert a nice fall orange color while the cobbler portion adds a sweet spice crunch. The best part of this dish is that it is really easy to throw together. Dump peaches, cake mix, and thin pats of butter into an oven pan before dinner and it will be all ready by the time you finish eating! The cobbler can be finished as early as 20 minutes if you prefer it rich and gooey or leave it for 40 minutes if you prefer it to be more crispy and cake-like.
This year I have heard so many people looking for easier recipes for their Thanksgiving. Sometimes there is a lot of pressure to make such a fancy meal that it makes the day stressful and takes the focus off family time. While I am a huge supporter of breaking out the china and fancy silverware for Thanksgiving, I am also okay with incorporating a few dishes into the schedule that can be made ahead of time or require little preparation (like these brussel sprouts).
On November 11th, Sweet Tea Sweetie had it’s one year anniversary!! It’s hard to believe that we’ve been blogging for a year now. When Ben and I first started this blog, we began on wordpress.com as our host. It was a great tool to help us as we got started blogging, but as many of you noticed, it was something that we outgrew. We recently switched over to wordpress.org and are really excited to share some new aspects to our website. You may have already noticed a fun new Pin It button when you hover over the photos. I have been addicted to Pinterest ever since I discovered it. I love saving recipes for future reference and I hope this new button is easier to use! If you are a fellow blogger, leave a comment below using comment luv so that we can see what you’ve been posting lately. Today we are rolling out the new recipe format. This is the one that I am most excited about and have been dying to share with you.
