Okay, be honest….how much candy did you eat on Halloween last week?!? I have a weakness for candy corn and pumpkins but ugh…they’re so bad for you!  I think loving them has something to do with the fact that they only come out once a year and they are just so adorable. I nibbled on a few, then tried to walk away from the bowl! What’s your favorite Halloween candy? Did you know that “an average Jack-O-Lantern bucket carries about 250 pieces of candy amounting about 9,000 calories and about three pounds of sugar.” according to the California Milk Processors Board. Eek! Now we’ve had our year’s worth of sugar, I say we walk it off!

Ben & I headed up to get in some city hiking in at the Twin Peaks. The Twin Peaks are an iconic part of San Francisco. Tour buses regularly bring tourists to the peak for the incredible views, but the real way to do it is to Urban Hike to the top! The two hills are the second highest points in San Francisco at just over 900 feet. Talk about a workout! Once you make it up the winding roads to the peaks, there are some thigh burning stairs so be sure to give it an extra push at the end! Twin Peaks Boulevard runs a figure eight around the two peaks so that you can see every part of the city. Just check out those views of Market Street cutting through the heart of downtown and the Golden Gate Bridge standing tall over the city.
