One of my favorite parts of fall is the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. I know, I know, it’s so cliche! If you haven’t read Buzz Feed’s “Things All Basic White Girls Do During the Fall”, you should. It’s hilarious!
There is also Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show:
And the endless memes:
Despite the jokes, nothing beats curling up in a window seat with a good book & enjoying the layers of sweetness & spice on a dreary morning. Even if I only have 10 minutes to enjoy the experience before heading to work, it makes the day feel so luxurious. Bring that experience home with this easy to make at home Crock Pot Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Crock Pot Pumpkin Spice Latte
- 5 cups strong brewed coffee
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (Yes this exists! I am partial to the organic Whole Foods option.)
- Mix all ingredients in crock pot until well combined
- Cook on High heat setting 2 hours
- Serve hot!
Try serving it with a shot of whiskey in pretty glasses topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of spice for a fun fall or Thanksgiving party drink!
