One of my favorite game day snacks is pigs in a blanket. I love them warm, straight out of the oven. This simple snack is one that everyone grew up eating. I took it and added a fun twist by making a delicious Bourbon Honey Mustard Glaze to brush on top before cooking. This adds a sweet and slightly tangy flavor to a childhood classic.
1 Can Crescent Rolls
Mini Cocktail Sausages
1 Tablespoon of Honey Mustard (Dijon or your favorite mustard can be used instead)
2 Tablespoon of Bourbon
1 Tablespoon of Maple Syrup
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Pull the sheets of crescent rolls in half. That way the breading doesn’t overwhelm the whole treat.
Wrap each individual mini cocktail sausage in one half of the crescent roll.
Mix honey mustard, bourbon and maple syrup together.
Brush glaze generously on each pig in a blanket.
Bake rolls in oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
