My grandma was a big baker. Her kolaches & cinnamon rolls are the stuff of legend. People still talk about them even though she is no longer with us. Kolaches & cinnamon rolls were usually reserved for bigger celebrations, but her cookies were ever present. Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies & Chocolate Chip Cookies were my grandmother’s specialty. I can’t remember a time of going over to her house when there weren’t those two cookies readily available. She would keep them in clear Tupperware boxes in the pantry within reach of little hands. Even better though, was when she was baking them & would fill a table with cooling racks overflowing with cookies! I don’t do as much baking as my grandma did. These days I save most of my cookie making for the holidays so that I can share them with friends and family. Today I am sharing Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies in partnership with Real California Milk (found in the best butter!).

I am so excited to share with you the Seals for Good campaign. Since September, Real California Milk has been supporting families affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma in Florida and Texas. They are now expanding the campaign to help those affected by the devastating California the wildfires we just had!  How it works is that Real California Milk will donate $5 to the Great American Milk Drive every time a user shares a photo of our Real California Milk seal on social using the hashtag #SealsforGood (up to $10k in CA and $20k in TX/FL). I want to encourage all of you to share your photos with the hashtag to support those families. There is still so much need and this time of Thanksgiving is the perfect time to show our love to others.

To make these cookies, start with good ingredients. Pick your favorite peanut butter, add in brown sugar, white sugar, an egg, and butter made with Real California Milk. Whip them up until combined. Then add in the flour, baking soda, and baking powder until a dough forms.

Roll the dough in sugar. I added some super fine red sprinkles to the sugar to add a festive pop on the cookies!

Cook them for 8 minutes or until the edges of the cookies brown. As soon as you pull out the cookies, immediately press a chocolate kiss into the warm cookie. The chocolate will get all soft & gooey. This is what makes them extra good when they are hot!
