Happy Halloween! We are having so much fun celebrating the seasons with our new little guy. One of the things that I have wanted to do since moving to the Bay Area is head over to the famous Half Moon Bay pumpkin farms. I have been too intimidated to venture over there in the past. The crowds of people wanting to do the same thing make the 7 mile drive take an hour, but this year I figured that it would be worth it! Having my mother in law here to take these amazing photos was the best! SO, James had his first visit to a pumpkin patch! What better place for his first visit than Half Moon Bay?
We headed out with intentions to stop at Lemos or Pastorino Farms. They are the most well known and beloved by families. They have mazes, train ride, ponies, animals, etc in addition to the pumpkins. As we were inching our way down the hill towards the farms, we saw 4C’s Pumpkin Patch. It looked really nice so we decided to pull in at the last minute. SUCH a great decision! They had a food truck, petting zoo, and bounce house for families who have kids old enough to want that stuff. What we loved was the ample FREE parking, tons of nice pumpkins, and not too many crowds. When James is older we will have to go try one of the bigger spots, but as we were leaving and we drove by the huge crowds, I was so grateful for our fun peaceful experience!
Our little family had so much fun!
“I think I need to try these before we buy one.”
“Okay mom, I got one!”
“I’m pretty proud of my choice but mom says there are more to see.”
“Alright folks, let’s move out!”
“I don’t know about these tiny pumpkins but this hay sure is fun!”

2017 is wrapping up January & heading into February! According to statistics this is when New Year’s Resolutions lose their momentum. I hope that isn’t the case but I can definitely attest to the empty gyms! While I don’t always believe in setting hard goals for a year because you never know where life is going to […]
