Happy 4th of July!
What’s better than a glass of homemade lemonade on a hot summer day? To make this yummy peach lemonade for Independence Day, my mom & I hand squeezed some fresh lemons, chopped up cherries (red), white peaches (white), and some blackberries (blue, kind of?!?!) and stirred them all up in our heirloom, vintage pitcher that has been passed down through the generations. We poured it over ice in these precious sunflower glasses & red, white, & blue straws for a festive touch!
What’s everyone doing to celebrate the 4th of July? Boating? Picnics? BBQs? We always grill up a yummy dinner then ride our bikes over to watch the fireworks. 🙂
This summer sunshine combined with a break in our drought is bringing the garden into full bloom! Its a great excuse to pull of a rocking chair on the porch with a good book & sip the afternoon away!
Look at all of that deliciousness in one pitcher! Yum!
